The Camden Catholic Athletic Department is extremely excited to welcome Mr. Troy James as the new Head Coach of the Track & Field Program. Coach Troy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience within the sport of track & field to Camden Catholic.
He shares: "I’m supremely excited to start my high school coaching career here at Camden Catholic. I look forward to building relationships and collaborating with coaches and student athletes in other speed, power, and endurance sports here on Cuthbert Boulevard. I have had the pleasure of being a part of national championships and national records on the AAU and USATF circuit, and Sectional and State championships and state records on the high school level."
"My desire is for our student-athletes to experience the ebbs and flows, and the trials and tribulations on the road to being a champion. In my ten years as a track and field coach, I’ve learned more in defeat than I have in triumph. With the help of our administration, alumni base, and most importantly supportive parents, we will eventually be a premier and well respected track and field program not just in New Jersey, but across the country."
Mr. James’ passion and commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes aligns with our values here at CCHS, and we cannot wait to see the positive impact that he has on the overall student-athlete experience.
