On Tuesday, June 4, CCHS celebrated the first annual Greenies Athletic Awards, honoring the many wins both on and off the field, from our Catholic Athletes for Christ award for Team Service, to the Irish Giving Day Fundraising Award, Fan of the Year, Play of the Year, Athlete of the Year, Alumnus of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and of course Team of the Year, the evening was an entertaining recap of the 23-24 year in sports at Camden Catholic.
Irish Cheerleading got the party started, and MCs Jacob Michaud '24 and Luke Baylouny '25 kept the crowd laughing.
Director of Athletics Jim McHugh announced each team's All Conference honorees. Alumnus Kevin McDonnell '08 was honored for his history-making win at the Broad Street Run this year and alumna and current University of Pennsylvania Associate Head Women's Basketball Coach Kelly Killion '08, a 2023 inductee into the Camden Catholic High School Hall of Fame, shared her advice with our student-athletes.
We congratulate ALL Irish Athletes and especially thank the seniors who have represented us with Honor, Faith and Loyalty for four years!
