FACULTY & ADMINISTRATION

There are 51 members of our administration, faculty and staff, 10 of whom are CCHS alumni and 53% who hold advanced degrees. Enrollment is approximately 630 students.

ACADEMIC PROGRAM

Camden Catholic is a college preparatory high school offering courses in the Arts, Mathematics, Languages, Social Studies, English, Science and Religion as well as an extensive elective program.

Graduation Requirements: Successful completion of 130 credits

  • 4 years: English, Math, Religion

  • 3 years: Science, History

  • 2 years: Language

  • Fine and Digital Art: 2 Semesters

  • Health: 2 Semesters

  • Design Thinking: 1 Semester

  • 80 Hours of Service

  • Senior Research Project

ACCREDITATION & MEMBERSHIP

Camden Catholic High School is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Diocese of Camden. CCHS is a member of the College Board, the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and the National Association of Secondary Schools Membership is also held in the New Jersey Association of College Counselors, the American School Counselors Association and the National Association for College Admissions Counseling.

COLLEGE PARTNERSHIPS & DUAL CREDIT

Camden Catholic High School maintains proud partnerships with several high level universities across the country, guaranteeing admission and scholarships to both/either undergraduate and graduate programs at: Saint Joseph's University, The University of Scranton, Mount St. Mary's University, Manhattan College, Saint Francis University, Holy Family University, LaSalle University, Spring Hill College and Neumann University.

Each agreement is unique to the partnership between CCHS and the university. See below for the requirements to qualify for guaranteed admission and scholarships. In addition, Camden Catholic offers dual credit in many courses through partnerships with Mount Saint Mary's University and Camden County College. Not only are these credits good at those institutions, but they can be transferred to many universities!

AP, HONORS & SPECIAL ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

Camden Catholic offers 18 AP courses and 24 Honors courses over four years in various subjects.

CCHS is proud to offer various special academic programs that meet students where they are academically, and bring them to new heights. These programs include:

AP Capstone Program — CCHS is a part of this innovative program that allows students to develop the skills that matter most for college success, such as research, collaboration, and communication. The program consists of two courses taken in sequence: AP® Seminar and AP Research. Students who score a 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research and on four additional AP Exams of their choosing earn the AP Capstone Diploma™. This signifies outstanding academic achievement and attainment of college-level academic and research skills. Students who score a 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research (but not on four additional AP Exams) earn the AP Seminar and Research Certificate™
